Product Overview
The Automated Visual Inspection Tool (AVIT) product line automatically locates, images, and inspects the surfaces of fiber end faces to detect scratches, loose contamination, and other defects to specified standards. The AVIT family of products is optimized for in-process and final inspection stages of manufacturing in products such as cables, circuit boards, routers, and linecards.
Products
AVIT
The AVIT system is a fully-automated fiber end face visual inspection tool for large-scale applications. Engineers can use the AVIT system to interface with multiple units under test (UUT) by means of a fixture receiver and multiple fixtures.
miniAVIT
The miniAVIT system is a benchtop version of the AVIT for automatically inspecting fiber end faces directly on the polishing plate or fixture. Engineers can use the miniAVIT in post-polishing, in-process, and final inspection stages of manufacturing.
Fiber-QA
The FiberQA-End Face Inspection software works with most industry standard microscopes for semi-automatic visual inspection of individual fibers.
